Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans Five to Watch with Setanta Sports

The Indianapolis Colts once again feature on our Setanta Sports Sunday night NFL game as they take on the Houston Texans in Reliant Stadium, Houston.

The Colts will look to follow up on an impressive win last week against the Superbowl favourites, the Denver Broncos, with a win over their AFC-South rivals.

A tough test is in store for Andrew Luck, who is not only playing away from home, but is facing the top rated defence in the league.

It is not an easy task in for the Texans’ quarterback, Case Keenum either, who may be without his best running back, Arian Foster, due to a hamstring injury.

Keenum impressed last week against a good Chiefs defence, posting a solid stat line of 271 yards, and a touchdown. Keenum will rely on his defence to limit the Colts’ offence, and hope that Ben Tate can pick up the slack should Foster not suit up.

The Colts will miss their veteran receiver, Reggie Wayne, but should have enough firepower to move to 6-2 and take a commanding lead in the division.

Ahead of this clash, Fantasy5Live’s NFL expert @irishjet has picked his 5 players to watch:

Andrew Luck, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts

Those who selected Luck as one of their picks last week were rewarded with a big fantasy day from the second year quarterback. Luck threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns and also managed a rushing touchdown on the day. The Texans defence allow fewer yards per game than any team in the NFL, but with the Texans finding their feet with a new quarterback, Luck should have plenty of opportunities.

Andre Johnson, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans

Despite suffering a number of ailments this season, Johnson has not missed a game yet. It is concerning that Johnson will have an undrafted rookie unproven quarterback throwing the ball to him, but Keenum does know where to find Johnson, as he showed last week. Amazingly, Johnson has not found the end zone this season, a streak that fantasy owners hope will ends soon.

Trent Richardson, Running Back, Indianapolis Colts

Bust you say? A first round pick for a running back that hasn’t proven his worth in the NFL? Such concerns surrounding Richardson are warranted, but the Colts have invested in Richardson and will want to justify the high price by ensuring he sees plenty of the ball this season. The strength of the Texans’ defence is its proficiency against the pass, ranking fifth last in rushing yards allowed per game. This could be the game where Richardson fights off his critics.

Ben Tate. Running Back, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts allow the fourth most yards to running backs so far this season, and with Foster struggling for fitness, Tate should do some damage on Sunday. The Texans leading tackler, Brian Cushing is also out so Tate should have a little more space. Check our fantasy5live twitter feed on Sunday evening to get an update on Foster, but even if Foster plays, Tate will probably get the lion’s share of the carries.

Coby Fleener, Tight End, Indianapolis Colts

I tipped T.Y. Hilton to have a big game last week and it didn’t materialise, so Coby Fleener gets the nod this week. The college teammate of Luck has seen more targets in recent weeks after the loss of Reggie Wayne for the season. Fleener is a big redzone target, the place where the most fantasy points are scored.
